Capacity management is concerned with balancing the resources.

A production system consists of inputs, processes, outputs and information flows that connect with customers and the external environment. Inputs include human resources, equipment and facilities, purchased materials and services.

The course explains and discusses how resources should be planned for and organized in order to supply service from manufacturing and inventory.

Objectives: The purpose of the course is to provide you with insights into how to conduct capacity management needed to coordinate resources of the production and distribution functions meeting the customers' needs.

Level: Supplementary, you should have worked in the area for some time.
